Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, is one of the most significant festivals in India and is celebrated following the Navratri festival. "Vijayadashami" is a Sanskrit word that translates to "Victory on the Tenth Day" symbolising the victorious return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana in Lanka.
